This unit is covering probably the most difficult aspect of the English language. It is very important for an English teacher to have a sound knowledge of the 3 different times in English (the past, the present and the future) as well as the four aspects of these times (simple, continuous, perfect and perfect continuous).This unit was about the past tenses. I learned about the various forms of the English past tense. Those forms include the Past simple, Past continuous, Past Perfect, and the Past perfect continuous. The unit went into detail about each of the tenses. It also gave example activities for the Activity stage in the ESA method.
