This unit was heavily focusing on the methods a teacher uses in the classroom and how to use the techniques in a practical way. This gave a lot of good ideas for when I enter the classroom. There were also different teaching techniques and the techniques were explained which gave a good understanding of how teachers teach.In this unit I have learnt about the importance of teaching pronunciation as well as the techniques that can be used when teaching pronunciation. I have learnt the main aspects of pronunciation that should be introduced to students (e.g., articulation, intonation, word and sentence stress) and reviewed the phonetic script.
