This unit is about how to structure a lesson. It explained the different types of lesson you might be teaching (vocab, grammar or language function), and how to structure them (straight-arrow, patchwork or boomerang lesson). Although many points overlapped with unit 2, unit 4 was helpful, relevant and straight to the point.This lesson provided information on how to utilize coursebooks and lesson materials. The types of materials used in the classroom are just as important as the students themselves. Teachers should supplement, omit, replace, or adpat to the coursebooks. Not every course book is designed to work for every student and level.
