In this unit we touched on receptive skills. It is imperative that students understand the different purposes in English. It is important that students not only understand the level of language being taught, but that they are interested in the topic too. Various lesson structures can be used to achieve the aim of the class.For teachers it can be the easy route to go with the course book material constantly but the teacher has to do more to make the lesson more interesting and engaging. If some students are having difficulty with certain areas, the lesson material may have to be adjusted to accomidate them and make sure they don't fall behind.
