This unit gave an overview of different teaching methods, and then introduced the primary method we will be learning in this course. The method we will be engaging in is ESA, or Engage Study Activate. I thought the unit was very helpful, including a plethora of detailed examples of activities that can be used at each stage.This lesson gave a lot of useful information about the two productive skills, namely speaking and writing. The lesson also focused on fluency and accuracy activities and which sort of activity is used for which classroom situation or lesson. I also learned about the different factors to consider when doing writing activities.
