After learning this lesson, I've got more clear with modals, phrasal verbs and passive voive.I konw how to use the auxiliaries in different tenses and voices. Modals can be used to express a number of different ideas.I also learned the passive voice, relative clauses and phrasal verbs.There are 3 baisc types of phrasal verbs.This unit taught me all the different past tense functions and usages. It was a little bit confusing and I feel sorry for ESL learners for the complexity of the different tenses in the English language! It has made things much more clearer for me though and I have more confidence in explaining these things to my students now!
