What I have learned from this Unit is that there are different approaches to teach language learners. Different approaches are important at different times, and different group sizes, along with different proficiency levels. I have also learned about the ESA method of doing an engaging activity with students to create a warm environment where students feel comfortable taking language risks. The study stage is where the teacher will teach the language target with activities. The activate strategy is where students will do a project or activity that will help them on the target language using what they just learned in the study stage.
