Teach English in Dongfeng Jiedao - Qitaihe Shi
In this unit, I learnt theories, methods, and techniques. Among all of these , ESA is more practice and useful to use and in different classes, the ESA methodology can be used in different order, but it must be started in Engage stage, because this phase is not encouraging students to talk, so the teacher can use easy and funny games, such as Fizz-buzz, I spy, Sevens and so on. In Study stage, students have to focus on language, so the teacher can use elicitation, spelling and other activities. The last stage is Activate, so students are encouraged to talk freely and to create more sentences by doing role-play, surveys, and debate, etc.
