the content of this Unit was understanding how to utilize coursebooks. some of the factors to analyze if choosing one would be: price, availability, methodology, skills, difficulty, syllabus, topic, teacher's guide etc. Also, this lesson separated the type of teaching materials into 2 categories: authentic and creative. Authentic materials are pretty much anything a native speaker would hear or read like local papers, news shows etc. created materials are designed by the teacher to replace or supplement materials from a course book. Some types of created material that i like are crossword puzzles, flash cards, and role play activities.
