This unit made me think about the differences in productive language skills and how these improve students English level. I was surprised to realise that in some situations writing may be the easier of the productive skills to achieve as they have more time to produce this. I have always thought that having to think of things such as punctuation and spelling would make this much harder. I like the suggestions and information about how to make a classroom more inviting for students to speak. I think this is one of the most important aspects of teaching because if students aren't comfortable in the classroom, they are not going to engage.
