This was a very beneficial unit because it took us inside a classroom which enabled us to see the situation from a teacher's perspective as well as from the students perspective. We were able to observe two contrasting lessons that highlight some of the \"basic differences between effective and ineffective teaching\". I've learned the importance of having well-prepared lessons and the importance of using the ESA method. I also learned the teacher should write in a legible way so that all students can see and understand your handwriting. It's also a good idea to use fresh markers when writing on the board to avoid annoying squeaky sounds.
