Between the two productive skills, I find that learning how to write is more challenging than speaking. This is because in writing, the use of the English language should be accurately used while in speaking, there's more freedom to explore usage of words and expressions in order to be understood. In the classroom, providing activities that would develop both fluency and accuracy is a good way for students to develop their skills. Sometimes, making a comparison of how fluency and accuracy work in the English language and in the students' native language would help them understand how to effectively switch from one language to the other.
