This unit teaches me the various methods and techniques of teaching. I learnt that teachers do not actually need to correct every single mistakes made by the students. Instead, teachers should allow students to identify and realize their own mistakes. In that way, the student will spend some time to think on their own and this is very crucial as it would increase communication between the teacher and student as the student then become curious of what they did wrong. At the same time, corrections should be balanced as too much corrections will cause the student to feel demoralized and over time, they may shut themselves off from learning.
