Ways to assess: - Tutorials: perhaps a few minutes per week ? review work, discuss aims, student performance, problems, etc. - Eval by students: ask if there?s enough grammar, skills, if work is too hard or easy; discuss & adjust? - Tests: Placement: determine correct grade level & for grouping Diagnostic: determine students strengths & weaknesses Progress test: determine how students are progressing (can be a game?)
