This Unit was particularly interesting because it covered the topic of teaching productive language skills to students. As stated in the previous Unit, the productive skills are just as important as the receptive skills. However, each productive skill, writing and speaking, should hold targeted practiced. This means that students should receive separate lesson plans for writing and speaking, because the two productive skills employ different mental and physical faculties. In summation, I am glad to have been able to review effective processes to teaching, practicing and encouraging student involvement in use of productive language skills.
