This unit is a return to the proper usage and grammar breakdown of the English language. Using this language is something that a native speaker does without thinking, but for an ESL student they may struggle with. I enjoyed learning about the different types of conditionals (zero, first, second, third, fourth and mixed) and how to change the verb tenses. The time expressions were interesting and I found the diagram on page 7 to be useful in switching between active speech and reported speech. I like that the unit includes some common mistakes that students make as well as teaching ideas, like split sentences and complete the conditional.
