This unit taught what lessons plans are, how they should be constructed, as well as the importance of having lesson plans as a teacher. Lesson plans is very important, especially for newer teachers, as it not only helps teachers have a direction and plan for their classes, but also can act as a guidance for teachers when class has started. The unit lists out what should be included in the lesson plans and gives out a template for people to use. In addition to this, it gives an example worksheet for students that has all three ESA phase activities, which I found really useful because it allows me to envision the process of a class session.
