Firstly, this is a great refresher of grammar for the common person. We do not always think about the parts of speech consciously during day to day conversation. Taking a step back is a great way to realize how many people that I will be teaching will really have to focus on these things to learn to build sentences and conversation in English. One thing that is very noticeable from language to language, is that we simply speak differently. It is not necessarily knowing what words to use, but how to put them together. This is different from language to language, and aside from slang, is probably the trickiest part of learning the language.
