This unit covered more grammar, specifically modals, phrasal verbs, and the passive voice. The unit explained that modal verbs are used to express many things, including obligation, possibility or probability, permission or prohibition, ability, and advice. The charts included on pages three and four was especially helpful in cementing my knowledge of modals. When teaching the passive voice, the chart included was also very helpful. The fact that I found the charts so helpful gave me the idea that charts would also be helpful for students- maybe not when first teaching the part of speech, but maybe as a take-home material for extra study.
