In this unit, I learned that the teacher plays an extremely important role towards an effective ESA lesson. The first lesson had many errors, such as, the teacher repeating \"modal auxiliary verbs\" and \"easy\" to the students. Students were confused throughout most of the lesson and not many were willing to participate as the teacher repeated that the concept was \"easy\" and that they should already know it. With the second lesson, the teacher clearly explains and demonstrates modal auxiliary verbs and encourages students to participate. Students understood the concept of modal auxiliary verbs and were willing to participate and speak.
