This unit proved to be fairly difficult for me. I found it challenging trying to decipher the key points of direct speech. However, this unit really got me thinking in a new way and thinking more like a non-native speaker. In my experience, it almost felt like this was new information I was learning for the first time. Learning to reword things in the direct form was like learning a whole new grammatical sentenced structure. I think the notes I took on this unit are for sure something I will need to turn back to my notes many times before I am comfortable enough with this information to be able to teach it or even describe it to someone.
