Teach English in Du'ermenqin Dawoerzu XiAng - Qiqiha'er Shi — Qiqihar
This unit was about classroom structure and control. It described the seating arrangements and the pros and cons of various structures for large and small classes. It also taught the correct balance of teacher and student talking time, as well as the importance of rapport with the students. Finally, it dealt with discipline issues. My feeling is that a lot of this will depend of the personality (or rather the teaching style) of the teacher, as well as the dynamics of the class, which can be hard to predict. What works for one class or for one country might not work in another time and place. It is good to know that there are choices.
