This unit focusses on the actual structuring of an english as a second language class. Differentiating the class into sections of engage, study, and activate there are a whole bunch of combinations that can provide for a varied and effective class. The basic structure is as follows. A class always begins by engaging them, be it visually, bringing something interesting to the table and always with the hope that everyone will speak some english. The class ends with activation. This is putting to use the content of that particular class. A study activity is found in the middle. there can also be repetition of engage, study and activate.
