Teach English in ChahAyang Nongchang - Qiqiha'er Shi — Qiqihar
I knew that there were four parts of language acquisition (reading, listening, writing, speaking), but I was unfamiliar with the categories \"receptive\" (reading, listening) and \"productive\" (writing, speaking). I think understanding the difference between those categories - and thinking about the connections between them - is very important. I also thought the comment about pre-teaching just enough vocabulary, but not too much, was a helpful tip. I see why there should be a balance between helping the students know enough to feel confident, but also building inference and discovery skills when they come across a word they may not know.
