This unit mostly covered grammar points, especially verb tenses. First, we are told that the English language has many more tenses than some other languages such as Chinese or Slavic languages. English in fact has 12 tenses - the past, present, and future, and for each of those, there are four aspects: simple, continuous, perfect, and perfect continuous. This unit focused mostly on the four aspects of the present tense: the simple present, present continuous, present perfect, and present perfect continuous. Many examples were given along with usages for each tense. There were also many examples of typical errors that students tend to make.
