Completing this unit helped me to acquire a better-structured view of teaching-learning English as a new language, built on the three main components: vocabulary, grammar and functions. In this perspective, planning and delivering the lessons represent a very challenging task for the teacher, so he/she has to find the perfect blend and timing to introduce the new elements, always in correlation with the class level and students' particularities. Moreover, reviewing the ESA structures applied for vocabulary, grammar and functions allowed me to reinforce the knowledge related to ESA methods and to improve my practice in planning ESA lessons.
