Unit 7 discussed teaching new language, particularly vocabulary, grammar, and functions within the language being taught. In this case it is English. It goes through the criteria of what to keep in mind when teaching these structures based on the student's level of English speaking. It was great to review the ESA theories of teaching as well - particularly when to use them and how to use them. For example, in vocabulary, during the Engage phase, using mime is recommended. During the study phase, crosswords is appropriate. Lastly, during the activate phase, poster/advertisement making is recommended. It gives me plenty of ideas for when I will be teaching English to my class.
