This unit laid out ways to present new language to students within a classroom setting. New language includes vocabulary, grammar and functions, and each has a different approach for best presenting the ideas to the students. New vocabulary must be chosen with care but can be the most fun to present. Students must understand use, meaning, placement (grammar), interaction, spelling and pronunciation. New grammar can be very engaging but also very difficult. Students must understand use, meaning, forms/patterns and the variations between the spoken and written versions of various phrases. Functions can be the most interactive and often work best with the boomerange lesson structure.
