Materials are anything we bring with us to the classroom to aid the teaching process. There are authentic and non-authentic materials. A lesson plan is an important document that covers many aims. Is it useful to have a copy of it during the lesson, but not to stick to it firmly - adjust it to what is happening in the lesson. There are lots of course books with different advantages and disadvantages. There are 4 ways for course book use: omit, replace, supplement and adapt. Lots of materials are also available on the Internet. Order in the classroom may be maintained in a number of ways: voice, gesture, eye contact, students' names, teacher position, clear instructions and others.
