I enjoyed the breakdown of the present tense because I am often confused by the usages and rules. I am not good at explaining why certain tenses are the way they are so the list of verbs in the simple present, present continuous, present perfect, and present perfect continuous was extremely helpful. I also found the students' common mistakes section particularly useful because I am challenged to think about how to address these common mistakes with my students. As a native speaker, I can detect the correct answer often by just listening to what sounds right; however, EFL learners cannot. So, this lesson has given me the background information to explain these rules to my students.
