It is important for teachers to be prepared so that they can deal with any problems or situations that may arise in the class or the lesson. However, this unit focuses on the importance of planning lessons. When teachers, especially new teachers, do not plan their lessons, they may not think clearly, lose the lesson's sequence at any moment, and confuse the students because the lesson does not have a smooth flow. Thus, lesson planning helps create logical sequence and create a guiding document for the teacher. In addition, lesson planning helps form a record of all the lessons, which will be available for future classes or even for substitute teachers when the teacher is not able to teach the class. This will also help keep the lesson's sequence while the teacher is away. Besides planning lessons, it is very important to be organized with the lesson materials and aids such as audio, working markers, planner, pictures, and copies needed as chaos could occur.
