Grammar is a difficult subject. There are lots of ways to get confused. I did not learn about gerunds in school. This is the first time that I have heard about them. They are a verb ending in -ing that is used as a noun. Playing is an example of a gerund.Conditionals & Reported Speech, It was a great unit very helpful ideas how to teach. It is not an easy unit it need time and pitent. some students get confused or difficult to see the difrence in usage between first conditional and the second conditional.I learned an insane amount of information regarding pronunciation. I learned all the different patterns that are able to be made and all the different spots in one's mouth have a name. It makes it easier to compartmentalize and break apart to make sounds.
