This section provided a nice overview of the common parts of English grammar I have previously studied in school. Although none of the information was new to me it was useful to revisit the rules and get a detailed explanation of the patterns of English conjugation.This was another good source of class structure, it was nice to refresh myself with more ESA structure ideas. Keeping ESA structure in mind is absolutely essential. This unit served to reinforce HOW students learn and things to keep in mind when structuring lessons.I already knew a lot of these terms having studied Linguistics, however it was really good to refresh my memory and even learn a few new ways of explaining things. Gerunds, for example, have always been a little tricky for me to explain. But this was really helpful.
