This unit was about course materials, the advantages and disadvantages of the different kinds, bought or self-made. I learnt the important of using a Boomerang ESA lesson when utilising course materials, especially for focusing on truly experiencing phone conversations.This section covered grammar and the parts of a sentence. A few things I learned about that I had not known about before were gerunds, countable and uncountable nouns, and superlative adjectives. The rest of the unit was a good refresher of things I had learned before.From this unit, I learned the distinction between reported and direct speech. I also learned to pay more attention to each conditional tense, and to explain each tense in a way that will be easily comprehensible to students who are unfamiliar with the English language.
