I enjoyed this unit. This unit gave me much more knowledge about ways to approach lesson planning. I think the chapter was organized well. It was also written clearly. Provided a good general understanding of how to approach teaching, with examples that can be built upon.I found this unit very interesting in that it specifically describes various types of syllabi and testing for the teacher to be able to plan a course that would best suit his/ her students and also to keep track of and evaluate the students progress and skill development.Conditionals were studied in this unit. I learned about the various forms of conditionals in speech. Conditionals are closely tied to the tenses. A good understanding of the tenses is needed when reporting speech and will take some time and practice for students to learn.
