Unit 15 is about the different English Language Tests that exists and that our students might be interested in taking. It also gives and insight on evaluations that teachers can do or must do in order to evaluate the progress of the acquisition of the language. What I agree with the chapter, is that tests must be applied in order for the student and the teacher to evaluate their progress in the language and therefore it becomes more of a tool than a competition of ranking students. It also gives a good recommendation of asking the students what they think about the class because this will give the teacher a hint on what to reinforce, while it gives greater awareness and interaction. Finally, I liked this chapter because I was able to differentiate all the tests that are out there and gave me an idea on how to progressively increase the difficulty on my own evaluations.
