In this unit, I studied the forms, usages, and common mistakes for the seven most common future tenses: future simple, future continuous, future perfect, future perfect continuous, be going + infinitive, present simple (used in a future sense) and present continuous (used in a future sense). Many of the future tenses have similar, and sometimes even overlapping usages. Among the usages of the future tenses are future facts and certainties, predictions (either with or without evidence, depending on the tense), decisions (spontaneous or planned), inquiries to other people's plans, indicating future completion of actions, intentions and schedules, among many other uses. Given the complexity of future tenses, many mistakes include confusion with other tenses and the omission or misuse of the auxiliary words \"will\" and \"have\" in forming the structures of the future tenses.
