In this lesson I learned that its important to have a course book and lesson materials. Course books are helpful with lessons but shouldn't be used all the time. It has advantages and disadvantages. An advantage of a course book is that it provides a syllabus which is graded to the level. A disadvantage is it does not always fit the specific needs and interest of all the classmates. Therefore its important to be creative because the teacher may then make lessons which are interesting to all the class mates and still keep it on topic. Course books are basically a great guide and a general understanding for teaching English. But its not specific to ones region. Therefore its may not cover all the points while teaching something specific about one region or may not keep all students interested. Thus, the teacher must adapt using some basic materials and using their own style.
