This unit provides template of how a lesson plan should be written, and what teachers should include in the lesson plan. It is important to write up a lesson plan before lesson in order to ensure the class goes smoothly. If a lesson plan is used wisely, I think it enhances the effectiveness of learning in classroom, it may not be as rigid as others might think. Lesson plan only provides an outline of what learners are going to learn through activities designed for the lesson. Teachers can determine the time spent in every section, depending on the needs and performance of students. Problems may arise if a lesson plan is not prepared beforehand, it requires more time for teachers to determine what to do in every step during lesson and it may jeopardize one's rapport in class as learners will think that teachers don't really know what they are actually doing as well in class.
