When I watched the first video, I felt sleepy and nervous and started to think if I had had the same situation. However,I smiled when Mark said OK at the very beginning of the second lesson.Although Mark kept saying it was very easy in the first lesson, I found that every student in the classroom was confused or frightened. It was not easy at all. On the other hand, he didn't say anything like that, but students were in a comfortable situation. He also used various kinds of facial expressions or gestures to create a environment in which students were more likely to think positively and participate in the activities. After watching the two videos, I believe more firmly that a teacher is the controller of a lesson. Like a driver driving a car to a certain destination, it is the teacher who decides the atmosphere, the efficiency of, as well as the students' attitude to the lesson.
