This unit about tenses was rather challenging and i really needed to take my time going through all of the information that was given to me. The form was a good way for me to use as it helped me identify the tense in the question i was looking at and what time it related to, for example in the past, continuing, factual and many more. ? can see how if used incorrectly the person listening can understand something entirely different to what the speaker is trying to get across. As getting the tense wrong in a sentence can lead to confusion and misunderstandings, so for example if ? said to a student '? eat meat' or ?'m eating meat' these two statements are very different, so ? can see, although a bit difficult for a native speaker,that to have some good knowledge of English tenses is a must as it shows how you see the action and what you wish to emphasise.
