In this unit I've learnt the importance of the materials used in class. Along with the knowledge of proper methodology and teaching techniques, the material chosen is a crucial factor to determine wether the students will easily get engaged or not with the lessons. An other important detail is that not alwyas the teacher is allowed to choose the material to be used in class, in this case if the material is no interesting the teacher must be able to create and bring extra materials so as to reach the students needs. When bringing extra materials to the class, the teacher should attent to the level and fluency of the students. When opting for authentic materials for instance, they must be well analised to make the class interesnting and with a smooth flow. The use of games and role-play cards are good tools for axercising and leraning new vocabulary according to the students' level.
