This unit examines the future tense systems which are: the future simple, the future continuous, the future perfect tense and the future perfect continuous. The future simple tense takes the form affirmative I shall/will + verb. The future continuous tense takes the form subject + will + be + verb + ing The future perfect tense uses the form will + have + past participle. The future perfect continuous tense takes the form will + have + been + verb + ing in affirmative. Looking at this tenses one need to note that all the tenses are used in affirmative, negative and interrogative forms. It also examines other future tenses which takes the form of present simple and present continuous tense. Equally this units examines the use the of tenses, and the areas where students encounter problems, provide teaching ideas to help ease the work of the teacher which is of great benefit to me.
