Personally I find it hard to teach children, I think, I mentioned the reasons for it in one of the unit reflections during my TEFL course, I will not repeat myself. Probably, it is hard for me also by the personal reasons: I always thought a teacher need to be some kind of 'perpetuum mobile' to be a good educator for young learners, me, I'm more a low-key teacher, so I guess, this is the reason. And at the same time, I understand that in the country I'm living at the moment the niche of teaching kids is always open, and adults prefer working with native speakers more in any case, so it's inevitable for me - working with kids. Going through units of this course I'm trying to find a balance between my personal peculiarities and what needs to be done - to show a good teaching performance for young students and their parents. It's a very informative unit and I have learnt a lot from it.
