This unit focuses on the Present Tenses in the English grammar. Though the unit states that some courses explain that there are 12 tenses, this unit suggests that it is better to think that there are three different times or tenses: past, present and future, and four different aspects: simple, continuous, perfect and perfect continuous. In presenting the information, the unit is then divided into four areas: Form, Usages, Typical Student Errors, and Activate Stage Teaching ideas. The four tenses for this unit are: Present Tense, Present Continuous, Present Perfect and Present Perfect Continuous. A very important area of each of these sections is the Usage area for each of the sections because it is in this area that so many examples and explanations are given and explained, thus providing the reader with an excellent background in how sentences are created in the four sections.
