This Unit clearly and concisely covers the aims and goals of the course. Explaining key terms, unit contents, career opportunities, and describes what is to be expected from this course. This Unit is well laid out, and is easy to follow. There is one problem I noticed. Question 13 states \"In order to teach medical English to a class of nurses in a local hospital, which of the following attributes would be essential for the teacher?\". This is a little misleading as in Unit 1 it says \"As an ESP teacher you do not have to have any specific training in the area in which you are teaching English.\" This implies that the right answer to question 13 is 1 \"A broad understanding of the English language with no previous background in the medical profession.\" If this is right it would imply that it is essential to have no previous background in the medical profession. I feel like this is a bit misleading.
