This unit is most helpful to beginner teachers. This unit talks about the different materials that a teacher can use in making teaching more efficient and effective. A teacher should be familiar with these different materials. As our time change to more technology-aided materials, a teacher also needs to know how to properly used each materials because it will reflect to the teacher's ability to prepare the lesson properly. The teacher will also save a lot of time if these materials are ready to use. It is also not a bad idea to go back to the basic, like using dictionaries. We know that almost everything is computerized now. But learning how to open a dictionary and how to find the words and their meanings are helpful for students to also read and not always rely on technology. Then teacher also needs to make sure that the materials that will be used are approriate to the lesson that will be taught.
