Unit 10 Video Lessons: Watching the first video I became frustrated with the teacher. his demeanor was unpleasant. He intimated the students by using the phrases, \"Anyone can do this.\" and \"This is really easy.\". He didn't teach the students what a modal auxiliary verb was and expected them to already understand that level of terminology. He didn't engage or encourage the students. It was all teacher talk time and no student talk time. All the worksheets were done individually so they didn't have time to practice their English speaking skills with each other. The second lesson was so much better. The teacher kept prompting the students, gave encouragement and praise. He even corrected them in a comfortable way for the students. I do think there could have been less teacher talk time. He could have had the student pairs ask each other questions about what their imaginary animal can and can't do.
