In this unit, I have learned about the importance of the relationship between teacher and learner. First, to adjust the course to the specific students, the teacher should get a great understanding of his students? level, motivation, experience, and behavior. This will give the learners the biggest possibility to learn the most during the course. Second, to support and encourage the learners? motivation, the teacher should understand what makes a good teacher. To support this, the teacher can use various roles in different activities, such as the manager, organizer, tutor, and assessor, just to mention some of them. It is essential to use them correct in the right activities, to not create chaos or distraction etc. At last, I have learned what makes a good learner. This can be used to drive the students in the direction of being good learners and as well be used to encourage their motivation.
