This unit discusses of the twelve tenses that are used in the english language. There are three main tenses (time) which are present, past, and future. Each of these \"times\" are then split up into four different aspects: simple, continuous, perfect, and perfect continuous; therefore, you have present simple, past perfect continuous, etc. The section also discusses how each of the four main aspects are used in different situations and their forms, such as present simple is used for things that are factual, routine, or permanent. An example of present simple will be, arachnophobia is the fear of spiders. This unit has retaught me about the different aspects that are used in the tenses in the English language. I forgot the rules that are used in each form and the category that each sentence is put into. Being use to the English language, you forgot how each sentence can be identified as a certain tense.
